Our Congregation Vision and Mission

Christmas Eve 2023 - Pastor with Kids

Vision statement: Through LCOS, all come to know the unconditional love of God and grow in their faith, and share their love and faith with others.

Mission statement: That all may experience the love of Jesus Christ.

We reach up through worship celebration; we reach out by sharing our faith; and we reach in through prayer and study.

We have a very dynamic corporate worship style that is well received by the congregation.

Well over 1,500 people outside of our church are reached by the ministries of our congregation on a monthly basis. Our hope is that we will continue to grow in order to reach even more people with the work that we do. We realize that we need to be open and willing to change in order for our ministry to move forward and progress. When faced with a challenge, the congregation steps up to meet the needs of the church and the people of the church.

We have a strong belief that Christ has a plan for our church and our congregation, represented by the candle that has been burning in our sanctuary for the past 61 years.
